Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of ceramicist and sculptor Winnie Owens-Hart working on a pot at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the 1974 annual summer session. Owens-Hart stands on the right, with a clay pot sitting on a low, four-legged stool. She’s wearing a dark color shirt and pants, with a dark color apron around her waist. She leans over the pot, working on the part of the neck opposite the camera. The pot is inside a light color bowl with the word “CERAMIC” written on it in marker. The pottery studio is in the background.
