A ceramics instructor for the 1974 annual summer session at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Dr. Ahuwan is captured standing and leaning over with his hands on the pot. The pot is placed upside down on a light color bucket. His proper right hand has a sponge, and his proper left hand smooths the pot. Mr. Ahuwan, fully captured, wears a light color shirt and dark color overalls. To the left of Dr. Ahuwan is a large cup and bowl of water, to the right is a bucket.
