Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of ceramist Abbas M. Ahuwan hand building a pot. A ceramics instructor for the 1974 annual summer session at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Dr. Ahuwan stands behind a clay pot, leaning over and squeezing water onto the pot. The pot is placed upside down on a light color bucket. Mr. Ahuwan wears a light color shirt and dark color overalls. To the left of Dr. Ahuwan is a large cup and bowl of water, to the right is a bucket. The legs of other campers, who are sitting on an elevated surface, are seen in the background.
