Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of artisan and wood carver Athumani Omari Mwarik with two unidentified campers taken near the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the 1974 annual summer session. The two campers flank the wood instructor Mwariko. The woman on the left wears a dark color tank top over a light color, turtleneck, short sleeved shirt. She has a necklace, earrings, and glasses on. The woman on the right wears a dark color tank top with long earrings and a bandana on her head. Mwariko, in the middle, wears a light color shirt and appears to wear a cast or neck/head covering. He was a wood instructor that summer. They all look directly into the camera. Behind them are trees.
