This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.
Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of an unidentified camper taken near the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the 1974 annual summer session. The woman is captured from the chest up. Her head is titled down to the proper right as she looks into the camera. She wears a dark color v-neck shirt with long sleeves. On her proper left ear is a large metal hoop. Behind her is a plain, light color background, possibly the wall of a building.
