Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of jeweler Art Smith giving a presentation at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, who was a jewelry instructor for the school's 1974 annual summer session. Smith, on the right, stands in front of a table with both hands on the table as he leans forward, his legs staggered, and facing to the left. He wears a patterned shirt with light color pants and wears glasses. On the table is a patterned cloth or quilt. People sit in chairs placed against the walls. Above the walls are large, open windows. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
