Digital image scanned from a 35mm black and white negative of an unidentified camper working on a weaving project at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts during the 1974 annual summer session. The camper appears to be separating fibers. With her proper right hand, she holds a tapestry needle and pulls the fibers over a possible heddle rod. Using her proper left hand, the camper uses a needle to separate the fibers. In front of her, a block of wood and rock clamp down the fibers, with the knotted fibers seen behind it.
