A color photograph of Charles Cauthen by Sheila Pree Bright. The photograph is a close-up portrait of Cauthen wrapped in a United States flag against a bright white background. The American flag is wrapped entirely around his neck and shoulders, with only his head uncovered. Cauthen is facing the viewer with a serious expression on his face. The canton wraps around his proper right shoulder over his chest, and the red and white stripe field wraps over his proper left shoulder. The image has a thin white margin. There are three pencil inscriptions along the bottom edge of the verso reading [2007 CHARLES CAUTHEN 3/7], [YOUNG AMERICANS], and [2024 Sheila Pree Bright] from left to right.
