Source catalog description

This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

Three-stone Cluster Knuckles ring by Art Smith. The two oval-shaped, one circular-shaped stones are each placed in an individual bezel setting and give the illusion of floating next to each other. The largest stone on the bottom right is a forest green color. Next to it on the top left is an orange-pink-white layered stone and below it is a small, circular translucent blue-and-orange stone. On the back of the two oval stones is the main band of the ring. The layered stone has an additional ‘band’ connecting it to the small, circular stone. The inside of the additional band is stamped with Art Smith’s hallmark.
