A linocut landscape depicting two houses along a road. The road is in the foreground, with the two houses appearing across the road behind a low stone wall. The title [Houses By The Road] is written in pencil on the bottom left corner with [a/p] in the center. The print is signed [James L. Wells] on the bottom right corner, underneath the image.
