Source catalog description

This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

A mini zine from the Kids Solidarity Mini Zine Pack titled This is Me, designed by Jennifer White-Johnson and written by Kevin “Knox” Johnson III. The mini zine is constructed from a single sheet of white, heavy weight paper that has a slit at the center and has been folded into eighths, creating a six page booklet. The front of the single page is divided into eight panels which form the six interior pages and the front and back covers. The back of the page is white and plain. In its folded format, the front cover features a black-and-white close-up photographic image of Knox Johnson. The image depicts Johnson’s proper left eye, cheek, and the side of his nose. His skin is covered in water droplets. The title of the zine is printed in white text at the bottom center that reads [This is / ME].
