A digital, black-and-white image of an unidentified child participating in a Black Lives Matter - Los Angeles protest against District Attorney Jackie Lacey in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The image was taken by Tommy Oliver during the protests that followed the death of George Floyd. The seated boy is depicted in profile, facing the right edge of the image. He is wearing a dark tone T-shirt and is holding up a paper flier with a blurred image of a man’s face in profile on the front. The boy is holding the flier so that the image is facing outwards. The flier is slightly curled, and the top is resting against the boy’s forehead. Surrounding the boy, in the background, is a crowd of blurred, seated protesters.
