A digital, black-and-white image of a protest sign being held up by a pair of hands at a Black Lives Matter - Los Angeles protest against District Attorney Jackie Lacey in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The image was taken by Tommy Oliver during the protests that followed the death of George Floyd. The sign is constructed of plain, corrugated cardboard with rough, irregular edges. Black, handwritten, marker text on the front of the sign reads [BLACK LIVES / MATTER / BLACK LGBTQ / LIVES MATTER], with three hand drawn hearts at the bottom. The protester is holding the sign up in the air with both hands. There is also the top of a cell phone visible in the proper right hand of the protester, behind the sign. In the background is a blurred leafy tree and the tops of several other blurred protest signs.
