Source catalog description

This description refers to material held by Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Visual details below describe the original material.

A digital scan of a mixed-media collage. The collage is held as a PDF file (.pdf) and is titled “Onaway Tropical House.” It features elements such as trees, buildings, a pool, and a swimmer, all underneath a cloudless sky. A two-story building can be seen on the right side of the image. It has a brown exterior with large windows and brown wooden shutters that reveal a white interior. In the center of the image, to the left of the building, a lone swimmer occupies a large pool that reflects the surrounding environs. Part of another building can be seen on the left side of the image. Thin geometric lines on both buildings intersect at regular angles, creating patterns on the buildings’ facades.
