A silkscreen print tribute to Romare Bearden by Faith Ringgold. The print features an illustrated portrait of Bearden at center, holding one of his cats. A decorative border of grey flowers with orange, blue, and black leaves surrounds the central block design. Dedication text reads [Romie We Love You: In celebration of the 100th anniversary of your birthday on Sept 2, 2011] at top and [your art so beautiful and true for all the world to see you love us too. Faith Ringgold] at bottom. Along the bottom margin is [10/30] at left, [Romie We Love You] at center and the artist’s signature [Faith Ringgold 7/20/12] at right.
