An abstract acrylic painting by Claude Lawrence. The painting is composed of black-outlined shapes in multiple hues. At center, is a bright red, oblong form at center, with two light-brown oblong shapes on either side, one set against a dark blue field (right) and the other set against an off-white field (left). Surrounding these central forms are many smaller, mostly linear shapes, with rounded sides and edges. They appear in mostly grey, beige, pink and blue tones, with some dark red at the top right corner and bottom right side. The painting has deckled top and bottom edges. The artist has signed the recto in the lower right-hand corner [C. Lawrence] and the verso has an inscription of [Q AND A] in the center.
