This black-and-white photograph depicts a young man holding a sign in his right hand that reads "ALBANY / BLACK FAMILIES UNITED / NEW YORK." The slogan runs around a circle within which is a sketch of an African American Family. The young man, standing sideways to the viewer, wears a brown fedora and a white button down shirt. He has a small earring and a brown leather strap over his left shoulder. He stands in the center of a group of other men, all looking in various directions. There are two women in the background.
