A black-and-white photographic postcard of men and women picking strawberries in Plant City, Florida. The image depicts rows of strawberry plants in an open field surrounded by trees. In the foreground are five men and women bending down or kneeling to pick the strawberries. All wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants or skirts, and hates. Just behind them, a man stands upright holding two large, handled wooden trays loaded with strawberries. In the background is another group of men and women bending over to pick strawberries in the far corner of the field. On the back is a handwritten message dated [Dec 9] reading [Just starting to pick strawberries here. We live out of doors in day time - sleep in trailer at night - 74 degrees in the shade all day today. Wish you were here. Johnny is fine - started to school today Dec. 9. Had a fine trip down.
