A hand painted denim service coat. The coat is made of cream cotton herringbone twill. The surface of the coat is decorated with air brush and dry bush paint with ink, marker and fabric applique in an abstract design. Green, pink, and orange are dry brushed across the coat with streaks of purple and black airbrush. Checked patterning and groupings of lines are drawn on the coat with brown marker. Ink splotches are also placed throughout. Triangular and rectangular pieces of cotton fabric backed with adhesive are applied across areas of the coat. The coat has a convertible collar and can be buttoned at the neck or worn as a notched collar. The coat opens in the center front. Five buttonholes are placed on the proper left side of the center front opening which aligns with buttons on the other side.
